The Student Choir of the Independent Presbyterian Church in Memphis, TN will be touring the Eastern United States from May 30 - June 6, 2024. The choir members will be presenting concerts at churches in Elizabethton,TN, Brevard, NC, Columbia, SC, Mt. Pleasant, SC, Atlanta, GA, Huntsville, AL, before returning to Memphis. This is the 28th annual summer tour of the choir, which is composed of approximately 30 singers including students in grades 6-12, college interns, and adult helpers. The group’s choral repertoire features a diverse selection of styles, including sacred classical, hymns, folk, spirituals, and popular sacred music. Several vocal and instrumental solos are also available for programming purposes. The concert is free and open to the public.
